Fire rages at Sharjah oil company

The warehouse of Gulf Petro Chemical Company in Al Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah was gutted on Saturday afternoon.

The diesel and lubricants stored in the warehouse caught fire at about 2.30pm. No injuries have been reported yet, according to 'Khaleej Times'. 

Civil defence teams rushed to the site and douzed the blaze in about three hours but the cooling process was going on late evening.

A team from the Forensic Laboratory at Sharjah Police visited the site to determine the exact cause of the fire.
