Seaports, airports have high level of security

The Higher Committee for UAE Civil Seaports and Airports Security asserted on Saturday that the airports across the country enjoy a high level security, which has enabled them to achieve global leadership and keep pace with the growth of air traffic worldwide.

The airports ensure that the highest levels of quality in services are provided to the airline operators, passengers and freight traffic operators in a safe and transparent environment, said the statement.

Executive Director for the security of seaports and airports Sultan bin Yacoub Al Zaabi, said that the committee works under the guidance and direct follow-up of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the committee, to develop and raise the level of performance of human resources working in the UAE airports.

The committee has developed curricula and training plans which are implemented in cooperation with the specialised training centers and departments of the State Civil Aviation, he added.

A batch of personnel who had completed specialised training programme had graduated at a special ceremony held on Thursday.
