Sharjah announces traffic diversion as part of Etihad Rail access project

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority announced a temporary traffic diversion between University City and Ard Al Maahid as part of the Etihad Rail Station Access Roads Project, aimed at developing infrastructure and enhancing traffic flow.

The temporary traffic diversion will be in effect from Saturday, 4 July 2026, until Sunday, 23 August 2026, in accordance with the approved alternative routes illustrated in the traffic plan.

The Authority urged road users to adhere to the approved traffic diversions, use the designated alternative routes, and follow traffic signs and safety instructions to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow.
