Aishwarya Rai dazzles at Cannes red carpet, but is she perfect?

How do you like Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's look on her second day at the red carpet in Cannes?

First thing first, this former Miss World is beautiful - have no second thoughts about that.

But is her second appearance perfect?

After making a breathtaking 'golden' diva appearance on the Cannes 2014 red carpet on Tuesday, the Bollywood star appeared for the second time at "The Search" premiere.

Aishwarya again opted for a Roberto Cavalli gown (Guess she loved the reviews of the first day).

And again in a fishtail-mermaid-like gown (so the attention should be on the tail not the trunk, is it?). 

It is understood that the upper torso needs more attention in the gym.

She's undeniably the most glamorous woman at the festival, the 40-year old posed for photographers like the pro that she is and flaunted her white beaded number.

The Cavalli gown featured a plunging neckline, shimmery tassels and a diamond pattern.

The actress teamed her Cavalli gown with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and Chopard jewels.

But it was her hair that was the star of the show. Her long brunette locks were blown out into perfect waves (Kate Middleton-ish). 

This will be the actress’ 13th consecutive appearance at the international festival.

Aishwarya made her Cannes debut in 2002 for the premiere of Devdas. The actress was signed as the L'Oreal Paris brand ambassador in 2003, following which she made regular appearances at the festival, on behalf of the brand. 

In 2012, there was some speculation if Aishwarya will not make it to the Cannes due to her delivery and weight-gain. However, Aishwarya paid no heed to the criticism and continued her glamorous walk down the red carpet.

This is said to be the first appearance of Aishwarya as her usual, slender self. Husband Abhishek Bachchan, will attend the amfAR dinner soiree along with Aishwarya on May 22. 

Abhishek was completely blown out by his wife's first appearance. The actor tweeted, "Almost 52hrs without sleep! Eyes shutting… and the Mrs. Shows up looking like this!! Ok.. Eyes wide open now!"

The 67th Festival de Cannes kick started on May 14 and will continue through May 25.
