5 Pakistanis flee with friend’s Dh34,000

Sharjah Police have arrested five Pakistanis accused of assaulting their compatriot and fleeing with Dh34,000.
 
Police team set into action after receiving a complaint from the victim.
 
He claimed that his friends [the five suspects] beat him up and took Dh34,000 and have disappeared.

The five were arrested from different emirates shortly.

They have confessed to assaulting their friend.

The incident was a result of a previous financial dispute between the group of friends.

The men have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
