Coffin therapy to plan for 'afterlife'

Published

A man in Ukraine has started a business to give his clients a chance to plan for their afterlife. Towards this, he gives them an opportunity to lie down in coffin even before their 'time' has arrived so that they get used to the concept of 'eternity'.

Stepan Piryanyk has been making coffins for more than 10 years and has termed his new service 'coffin therapy', reveals Orange.

Piryanyk told the website: "When you lay in the coffin, it feels just like a bed. It's the same sheets, the same pillow... a wooden coffin has its own aura inside."

The coffin-maker has several spare ones that he lets out to his clients in an ante room so that they can recline in it while they listen to a waterfall soundtrack in the background.

He claims it is a great way of unwinding after a hard day at work.
