Dubai: Dubai Police have emphasised the importance of prioritising children’s safety during Eid celebrations, urging families to remain vigilant amid gatherings and activities.

In a public advisory, the force said parents and guardians should avoid leaving children unattended and ensure they are engaged in age-appropriate games and content.

Dubai Police also stressed the need to monitor children’s use of smart devices to help keep them safe both online and offline.

The advisory highlighted that a parent or guardian’s presence is key to ensuring children’s safety, recommending that adults accompany children when they are moving around.

Dubai Police added that even brief moments of distraction could have lasting consequences, calling on families to work together to ensure a safe and joyful Eid for all children.
