Dubai: The UAE’s air defence systems are currently responding to missile and drone threats, according to the UAE Ministry of Defence.
The Ministry confirmed that sounds heard in scattered areas across the country are the result of air defence systems intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
UAE air defence units are actively engaging incoming missile and drone threats. The Ministry of Defence stated that the sounds reported nationwide are linked to ongoing interception operations involving missiles and UAVs.
