An Indian fisherman on his usual morning fishing trip off Kuwaiti coasts got a big shock when he discovered that the catch was not fish but drugs.
The fishermen quickly phoned his Kuwaiti employer, who reported the find to the police, according to the Arabic language daily 'Al Anba'.

It said police found nearly 50kg of hashish in the bag and believed that smugglers had dumped the stuff in the sea for local drug dealers to pick it later.

“A police source said some drug smugglers are now using GPS to locate the drugs and he believes the bag was there to be picked by dealers with the help of GPS,” the paper said.
