The Big 5 PMV expo to be held at DICEC

The third edition of The Big 5 PMV, an exhibition of construction plants, machinery and vehicles, will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) from November 23 until 26.

Organisers Streamline Marketing Group and dmg world media announced yesterday that the exhibition will be staged in the new exhibition halls currently nearing completion.

The switch from an adjacent outdoor temporary structure has been made possible by the fact that the new halls are being built to a superior technical specification, which will allow, for the first time, the huge construction machinery that Big 5 PMV hosts, to be displayed in the main body of the exhibition centre.

"These are tough times for the construction industry as a whole, so we are doing everything we can to provide the best facilities and business environment to exhibitors," said Nick Webb, Director of Streamline Marketing.

Simon Mellor, Vice-President for Construction at dmg world media, said: "While construction activity has slowed, Dubai remains the business gateway to the Middle East."
