Syrian President Bashar Al Assad on Tuesday ended a three-day state visit to the country.
President Al Assad was seen off at the Dubai International Airport by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Also present at the send-off were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, in addition to a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
The Syrian President had earlier held talks with the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The visit was aimed at further improving the deep bilateral ties.
