'Tiger' Salman roars, Ranveer loses nerve

PR team denies Ranveer tweeting on 'Ek Tha Tiger'

After entertaining his followers on Twitter by criticising Salman Khan's blockbuster 'Ek That Tiger', Ranveer Singh's PR team has jumped in to save this bright actor from further faux pas.

A tweet handle '@iRanveerSingh' wrote “EK THA TIGER felt absolute bore bt (sic) last 15min was magical. nice stunt nd action @beingsalmankhan pra.”

@iRanveerSingh finds 'Ek Tha Tiger' boring which has crossed the magical mark of Rs 200 cr and continues to do roaring business at the box office.

Another tweet was posted by the account: "While I was passing through a multiplex people aftr seeing EK THA TIGER was asking for TIGER BAAM,"

After almost ten days of tweeting about Salman's movie Ranveer’s PR team is now defending the actor.

They have come out in open and sent an official message clarifying that the tweet was not sent out by the actor.

The first post was updated on August 21 and the team waited till August 29 to clarify the account after it has got all the media coverage.

The account has been active for long and the tweets and pictures uploaded by the account have been used by media for quite some time.

One wonders why his PR team was not active about the fake account giving away details about Ranveer's new projects. The account also published many pictures of shoot from different locations.

Though the statement issued by Ranveer's PR team did not reach Emirates 24|7, the message distributed was that a tweet being attributed to Ranveer Singh in some sections of the media about his comments on 'Ek Tha Tiger' is completely incorrect and baseless.

The tweet being referred to is of an impersonator and not of Ranveer.

The PR team further clarified that Ranveer is on twitter and his twitter handle is @RanveerOfficial and he has never tweeted till date.

Now will this clarification satisfy Salman's fan and 'Ek Tha Tiger' team remains to be seen.
