Shilpa Shetty’s son Viaan makes IPL debut

Unlike Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who incessantly covered up her first-born Aaradhya from the prying cameras until she turned a year old, her Bollywood peer Shilpa Shetty has always shared the spotlight with her son Viaan.

Whether it was setting up a twitter account in his name, or posting regular updates and pictures about him on the social media, Shilpa hasn’t shied away from giving him a fair share of her spotlight.

Although there were sporadic incidents where she had done an Ash, Shilpa quickly changed her stand.

Ditto for her husband Raj Kundra, who never misses an opportunity to talk about his son.

So, while the cricketing world is bursting with celeb power at the much celebrated Indian Premier League (IPL), Shilpa decided to pack her good-luck charm Viaan to watch a match.

The little chubster sat peacefully on his mother’s lap, while his aunt (and actress) Shamita watched over him.

The proud parents even attributed their team’s victory against Kolkata to the presence of their son.

“There was no way we could lose last night we had @ViaanRajKundra my pride n joy with us,” tweeted Raj Kundra.

The celeb parents even tweeted images of his tiny jersey.

“Viaans 1st RR Jersey with a bib:)” wrote Shilpa.

“On the way to the stadium nervous, excited a mixed bag of emotions. Sharing @ViaanRajKundra kit :) adorable,” added Raj.

The parents, however, haven’t yet posted a picture of the boy in the jersey, with Raj sneaking in a back-image with; “For all those who wanted to see a picture of my son @ViaanRajKundra on his first trip to Jaipur for @rajasthanroyals”.
