93-year-old Dilip Kumar hospitalized; ‘next 72 hours crucial'

Bollywood legend and the scion of Indian cinema Dilip Kumar is hospitalised in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital.

The 93-year-old actor who is the Intensive Care Unit was admitted following respiratory problems early Saturday morning.

“The next 72 hours is crucial… we are keeping a close watch,” a doctor at the hospital was quoted by local media.

 He is suffering from pneumonia as well, according to reports.

However, family sources claim the actor is fine and he is normal.

In a career-spanning six decades, Dilip Kumar has essayed several memorable roles and was known to play tragic heroes.
