Three Iranian missiles land in Jordan, no casualties reported
Jordanian military says missiles caused minor property damage and vows to protect the Kingdom’s sovereignty and security
Amman: An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) said that three missiles originating from Iranian territory landed in several locations across the Kingdom early Sunday morning.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), no casualties were reported, and the incidents resulted only in minor material damage.
The source said Royal Engineering Corps units were immediately dispatched to the affected sites to secure the areas and deal with missile debris and fragments in accordance with established military technical procedures. Relevant authorities continue to monitor the situation on the ground.
The source stressed that the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army will not allow the Kingdom’s airspace or territory to be used as a theatre of conflict or in a manner that threatens its security and stability.
The source added that the armed forces will respond decisively to any threat targeting the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity or the safety of its citizens, noting that all military units remain at the highest level of combat readiness to address any potential threats.
