The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has warned drivers to exercise caution, reduce speed, and leave enough distance between vehicles due to sand and dust-laden winds expected in some parts of the country.
In a statement today, the NCMS said that that the weather on Tuesday will be "hot to very hot in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times. The clouds will increase over some eastern areas, and may become convective with some rain at times by the afternoon."
Winds will be light to moderate in general, freshening at times during the daytime, and may cause blowing dust and sand over some exposed areas.
Relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early tomorrow morning over some coastal and internal areas.
Seas will be moderate, becoming rough at times during the morning in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Sea of Oman, becoming rough at times to northward during the morning, the statement added.
Wednesday and Thursday weather conditions are likely to remain the same.
