Dubai: Since the escalation involving Iran began, five publicly announced calls have taken place between UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and US President Donald Trump, indicating repeated direct communication between the two leaders.

The calls, which took place between March 2, 2026 to September 3, 2026, point to a sustained Emirati presence at the heart of political consultations.

In every call, key issues were discussed, including regional security, escalation with Iran and strategic relations between Abu Dhabi and Washington.

Repeated communication at the leadership level reflects the UAE’s political weight and the importance of its regional role.
