Can visitors register for the UAE PASS? Initially, individuals required an Emirates ID to register themselves on the UAE PASS app. However, since 2022, visitors can use the app by verifying their information through other identity documents. According to the UAE PASS website, if you are visiting the UAE, there are two ways to verify your details on the app: National ID card: This option is for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals. Passport: This option is for all other expats. However, note that if you are applying for a UAE PASS from abroad, you can sign up only for a Basic account to get access to limited services, deemed acceptable by service providers. Verified accounts, with full access to all services, are currently only permitted for Emirates ID holders. Visitors to the UAE can complete the verification of their Basic account by using the face verification feature on the app. What can visitors use the UAE PASS for? Visitors can access a range of services via the UAE PASS, including: Checking the validity of your visit visa via the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) website, and staying on top of expiry and renewals.
