UAE weather today: Dubai reaches 40°C, Abu Dhabi 44°C as humid conditions build
Partly cloudy skies and light to moderate winds will continue across the UAE, while humidity may rise overnight and lead to fog or mist formation early Tuesday.

Dubai: Don’t forget your sunscreen today. The start of the week is going to be hot and humid, with temperatures climbing into the mid-40s, and fog building up in the early morning hours tomorrow.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts the weather to be partly cloudy, in general, today. Temperatures in the coastal areas and islands are expected to be between 38°C to 42°C, while internal regions are expected to see maximum temperatures between 42°C and 47°C.
Among major cities, Dubai and Ajman are forecast to reach 40°C, Sharjah will peak at 42°C, Abu Dhabi will see 44°C, and Al Ain and Liwa will experience the hottest weather in the country today, at 45°C and 46°C respectively.
Humid days ahead
Humidity is also on the rise, with levels rising to 85% in coastal areas and 75% in internal regions. The NCM cautions humidity to increase overnight, into Tuesday morning, with the probability of fog or mist formation. If you’re a motorist who is on an early shift at work, be cautious and drive carefully during fog, as visibility may drop significantly in such conditions.
Gentle winds, calm seas
For beach visits this summer, the week ahead is looking ideal. Southwesterly to northwesterly winds are expected to remain between light to moderate today, with speeds of 10–20 km/h, reaching 30 km/h at times.
Both the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman are expected to remain slight, so you can enjoy gentle waves rising to two feet on-shore and just three feet off-shore, when you visit the seaside.
