Teenager escapes from police with father's help

A 14-year-old's father filed a false complaint against a Dubai Police official, reported Emarat Al Youm. 

Major General Saif Al Zafin, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police for Operations stated that the boy had been riding a bicycle on the highway when he was stopped by the police.

Since, it was a violation of a law, the police impounded the vehicle.

While waiting for the tow truck, the father of the teenager started conversing with the police, the boy used the opportunity to escape.

The father then filed a complaint against the police official stating that he had wrongly held his son.

Further investigations revealed the claims were false and the police official was only trying to follow law.
