Nominations are being accepted for the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat's ninth annual awards programme. The council has invited firms to submit their tall building projects and/or colleagues for consideration for one of the council's seven tall building / lifetime achievement awards, and have the projects profiled in the annual awards book and promoted around the world. All nominated buildings must have been completed in the 20-month period between January 1, 2009, and October 1, 2010, as stipulated in the awards criteria. The deadline for receipt of nominations is April 30, at which time the awards committee will deliberate and choose the winners. The awards ceremony will take place in Mies van der Rohe's Crown Hall, Chicago, on October 21.
