Omniyat's Bayswater handed over to investors

Omniyat Properties, the real estate arm of Omniyat Holdings, has handed over Bayswater, its 24-storey commercial tower in Business Bay, to investors.
Bayswater is the first target of this year's handover of Dh1.9 billion worth of projects with more than 1,000 commercial, residential and retail units.
The scissor-shaped tower has 293 office units and 11 retail units.
"This is a testament to our commitment to delivery. With Bayswater handed over, we look forward to the delivery of both The Square and One Business Bay in the next few months," said Mehdi Amjad, Chairman and CEO of Omniyat Properties.
As owners collect their keys, tenants can begin to anticipate the technology offerings hardwired into Bayswater.
The keys, which are actually radio frequency identification (RFID) cards, are another example of the detailed focus on the project's technology offerings.
Long-range sensors will offer personal recognition and automated entry and exit, signalling the Omniyat system to start up climate and lighting controls. Biometric readers will provide secure office access – no hassle with the fumbling and security risks of keys being copied.
"With the support of Omniyat Asset Management's three divisions: Strata Management, Facilities Management and Property Services, we will continue to create and capture value for our customers throughout the project's lifecycle," Amjad said.
Omniyat Strata Management will control and manage the administrative and financial requirements of the building's common facilities and assets.
Omniyat Facilities Management will employ a customised command and control centre, which will integrate and maximise efficiency on all building operations and maintenance. Omniyat Property Services will offer customised leasing services.
