Add style to those special occasions in life and work

Are you a high net worth individual who gets so caught up with work that he does not remember special occasions? Or do you have a special client to impress but do not like any of the run-of-the-mill ideas being floated by your staff? Then help is at hand for all busy individuals with cash to splash. An event company in Dubai has launched its bespoke occasion design service, Occaasi, that will go the extra mile to create a lasting memory, anywhere in the world. Each idea is tailored to the individual concerned, creating an extraordinary celebration just for them. Jaya Java, Director, Occaasi, told Emirates Business how the idea for the service came about. "We are all busy individuals and whenever a special occasion crops up we all face the same question. What do I do to make this occasion memorable for that someone special? All my life I have had my friends badger me with this question and also in my own life I have faced this dilemma. So we at Artaaj saw that there was a gap in the market for a bespoke occasion design service and decided to launch it." In order to create something truly unique, each individual client is assigned a dedicated occasion designer, who will provide a personal consultation to understand their wishes for a special day or find out as much as they can about the client's loved one to make a lasting memory of that occasion. Considering the 'wow factor' needed, as well as the personality and preferences of their guests, a customised occasion profile is created, which is then used to craft an array of ideas for transforming the celebration into an unforgettable occasion. Java said: "Our occasion designers use their expertise, combined with each client's specific requirements, to provide exceptional ideas and the flawless execution necessary to create a truly special, personalised occasion. Whether it is an anniversary, a marriage proposal, a landmark birthday celebration, or just a moment designed to show that special someone how much they mean to you, at Occaasi we make sure that every occasion becomes a treasured memory." The company, which is launching its service this month, is not very worried about the recession putting the damper on things. Java said: "I am convinced that our business will do well as these difficult times make it all the more important to retain old clients and impress new ones. "Plus our clients belong to a niche demography that seeks distinctive, one-of-a-kind experiences that are out of this world. This makes the UAE the ideal market in which to launch Occaasi, an entirely novel service for individual celebrations, finally allowing individuals to have custom concepts fashioned for them. "This is because traditionally the people of the UAE have shown a propensity towards luxury purchases, whether it be clothes, accessories, luggage, travel or entertainment. They have an unparalleled understanding and awareness of the finer things in life and individuals who demand exceptional service, superior craftsmanship and outstanding quality in consumer goods appreciate that special celebrations require the same care and attention to detail." So how much will these bespoke celebrations cost is the next question that comes to mind. Java said: "The price factor will depend on individual needs. There will never be a set price or a package or a catalogue that we will offer to our clients, as these will all be bespoke creations. "They will be as different as an individual is from the rest of the world. Someone might want to have an opera singer singing for them or maybe someone might want something entirely different. We will cater to their individual tastes and take the time to understand what the client wants. This is a brand for individuals and will be totally customised." Occaasi has already established Occaasi Personal Concierge, a complimentary service that enables occasion designers to remind clients prior to those special 'don't forget' dates on their calendars. Java said: "We all live in such a rushed world, with such limited time, that it is sometimes difficult to remember an occasion or find the inspiration, time and energy to create that special moment for the one you love. "We can make practically every dream celebration come true with the minimum of stress for our clients. It's your thought that counts – we do the rest!"
