Toshiba to sell Singapore LCD plant to Au

Toshiba said it would sell an LCD panel plant in Singapore to Taiwan's Au Optronics as it seeks to revamp its loss-making LCD business. The electronics conglomerate has been stepping up efforts to restructure money-losing operations and concentrate in its semiconductor and nuclear power businesses.
