Ex-Merrill Lynch trader banned for five years?

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) said yesterday it has banned a former trader at Merrill Lynch International bank from participating in any regulated activity.

The regulator ruled that Alexis Stenfors, previously employed as a senior trader by Merrill Lynch in London, was not a "fit and proper person".
