Eads CEO on how Dubai epitomises Mideast potential

In an exclusive column for Emirates Business today, Louis Gallois, CEO of European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (Eads), the aerospace and defence major, has marked the Middle East in general and Dubai in particular as being key to his company's future growth.

Gallois writes that in a relatively short space of time the Middle East has become a key market for Eads. "Just take a look at the expansion of Dubai International Airport, where passenger traffic is expected to reach 46 million this year," he said.
