Lady Gaga believes her notoriety has earned her some deadly enemies – and that she could soon end up dead. But her fears may kill her relationship instead. The pop star has such a strong phobia of crazed fans that she believes she could be killed by a crazy admirer, just like John Lennon was in 1980. The 'Bad Romance' singer is now so paranoid about being murdered by a fan that she insists on round-the-clock protection by her bodyguards, Contactmusic reported. Not only has she increased the security of her New York apartment, she even has a bodyguard watch over her as she sleeps. "Gaga thinks some of the fan mail has been pretty ominous. Some of her fans are completely obsessed – they make weird comments like saying they won't be happy until they die with her. She worries over how John Lennon died and fears the same happening to her. She has these horrible thoughts that there may be plans to kill her," the website quoted a source as saying. But the extra security detail has upset her boyfriend Luc Carl, who is reportedly set to marry Gaga in December. "Luc is getting a bit sick of having security around all the time. When they're hanging out at Gaga's place and her bodyguard is there, it kills the mood. But if she feels safer, he understands," the source said. Question is, how long is he going to put up with the attention? Celebrity relationships have been known to fail because the non-famous partner can't cope with the scrutiny and security.
