Day 2 of the Hili Forum 2026 is underway at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi on September 8. More than 1,000 participants, 75+ speakers and representatives from over 35 countries are taking part in the third edition of the forum.
The highlights of the second day’s proceedings are: Keynote Speech by His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, UAE, a Plenary session on Data, Drones, Digital (Dis) Order, and a presentation by Dr. David Scharia, Director and Chief of Branch, Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate, UN Security Council.
The second part of today’s session features: Fireside Chat: His Excellency Luigi Di Maio, European Union Special Representative for the Gulf region, and a Plenary on Role of Middle Powers in A Ruptured Global Order.
Jointly organised by the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) and the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA), the Hili Forum is being held at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort under the theme "Gulf at Crossroads: Conflict, Consequences and Course Correction."
