Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (Dafza) has been ranked 1st globally in the list of “Global Free Zones of the Future Rankings and Awards 2012/13” released by the the Financial Times' fDi Magazine.
Dafza won this rating as a result of its strategic approach and well-articulated plans to service its investors and partners, said a press statement on Monday.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Director General of Dafza, said: "We were quite confident that Dafza will stand out as one of the best Free Zones in the world at one point of time, with its planned strategies and vision.

Considered the only reputed Free Zones Rankings around the globe, fDi Magazine rankings are based on several criteria such as outstanding performance, growth and expansion plans, and presence of high growth industries."
