Dubai South welcomes Dior regional distribution centre

New 7,200-square-metre facility at EZDubai Logistics Hub will support Dior's operations across the Middle East and strengthen Dubai's position as a regional logistics hub

Dubai: Dubai South has inaugurated Dior's Regional Distribution Centre for the Middle East at EZDubai Logistics Hub, further strengthening its position as a preferred destination for global companies seeking advanced logistics and supply chain solutions.

The inauguration was attended by Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South; Nabil Al Kindi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Dubai South; Mohsen Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of EZDubai Logistics Hub; Pierre De Maigret, President Middle East at Dior; Anne Borde, Worldwide Supply Chain and Logistics Director at Dior; Eymeric Joussen, Head of Supply Chain and Logistics Middle East at Dior; and other senior officials.

Spanning 7,200 square metres across two levels, the facility has been established to support Dior's operations throughout the Middle East.

The centre will manage inventory, order fulfilment and boutique replenishment, while also supporting the brand's growing e-commerce activities in the UAE.

By positioning inventory closer to regional markets, the new facility is expected to improve product availability and accelerate replenishment across Dior's boutique network, enabling greater responsiveness to customer demand and a more seamless client experience.

Nabil Al Kindi said: "We are pleased to inaugurate Dior's new Regional Distribution Centre at Dubai South and welcome another globally renowned brand to our growing logistics ecosystem."

He added that the establishment of the facility reflects the confidence international companies continue to place in Dubai as a strategic base for regional operations.

"At Dubai South, our mandate is to provide an integrated and efficient environment that enables businesses to optimise their supply chains, enhance connectivity to key markets and support their long-term growth," he said.

The facility has also been designed with sustainability at the core of its operations and has been awarded LEED Gold certification.

Dior's supply chain and logistics teams are implementing a range of initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of operations, including optimising transportation flows, eliminating single-use plastics from packaging and increasing the use of sea freight whenever possible.

Dubai South said the new distribution centre reinforces its role in supporting global brands through advanced logistics infrastructure and sustainable supply chain solutions.
