Hamdan bin Mohammed highlights DWTC’s role in driving Dubai’s global business growth
Dubai World Trade Centre delivers AED 25.03 billion economic output in 2025

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, said that the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has played a vital role over the past 47 years in positioning Dubai as a global destination for business and specialised events.
In a post on his X account, His Highness said: “For 47 years, the Dubai World Trade Centre has played a vital role in putting Dubai on the global map as a destination for business and hosting specialised events.”
He added: “In 2025, the Centre continued to strengthen its position, achieving a record economic output of AED 25.03 billion, with annual growth of 12 percent. It hosted more than 108 major events throughout the year, attracting 2.18 million participants, including 947,000 international visitors.”
His Highness noted that these results reflect Dubai’s status as a city that brings the world together, connects economies, and creates new opportunities for business and sustainable growth.
