Housemaid scalds child’s back with hot iron

An Ethiopian housemaid used a hot iron to scald the back of her employer’s little son, causing severe burns to the boy’s body.

Doctors at a public hospital in the southern town of Damad said the boy suffered from bad burns on the back and other parts of his body.

Police arrested the maid after the boy’s father reported her, according to 'Ajel' newspaper which said she was being questioned on her motives.
