Ring leader flees, gang busted for Dh110k heist

Three Bangladeshis stole from an auto company

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at the Eastern Region Police of the Sharjah Police arrested a gang of three Bangladeshis who stole Dhs110,000 from an auto company in Khor Fakkan.

After the theft was reported, CID teams launched a search suspected which led to the group.

When the accused were confronted with the evidence, they admitted that they had helped the main perpetrator who fled the country illegally through a neighbouring country.

The suspects then said that the stolen money was still in the country and was in possession of a gang in Abu Dhabi.

The police arrested the suspect in Abu Dhabi and the stolen money was recovered.

All the suspects were detained and referred to the Public Prosecution.
