Woman visitor claims e-mail threat was joke

A Canadian woman visitor allegedly threatened a Pakistani via email and recorded message of ‘finishing’ him, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
 
KT, 45, businessman, complained that DA sent him an email and called him on his mobile and sent him a recorded message in September threatening to kill him and that she is ready to finish him.
 
KT did not mention why the woman threatened him.
 
Police arrested DA, who admitted to sending those messages to KT, but claimed that she was only joking.
 
The accused repeated that she was not serious in her threats when she appeared before the court.
 
The court will give its verdict on November 17.
