Kareena's no competition: Aishwarya Rai

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has denied reports she’s in a box-office war for the number one spot with Kareena Kapoor.
With both the actresses going head-to-head at the turnstiles next week, when their films “Action Replayy” and “Golmaal 3” are released, the issue of just who is Queen of the Screen might just be settled once and for all.
But the former Miss World told The Tmes of India: "Do you think so? I never worked like that. Never felt any competition or followed any."
You know what they say: When a denial is issued, the original rumour was probably true!
But she goes on to say she’s never planned her career with the aim of becoming Bollywood’s highest-paid actress, but believes in giving her best to the films and characters in hand.
“I never planned my films; I don't think we can do that," said Aishwarya and pointed out, "I made my debut with a regional film 'Iruvar' opposite Mohanlal. I worked with Shah Rukh for the first time as a sister in 'Josh'. I chose my path. I never thought or was concerned about competition. And if you ask me about being the highest-paid actress in Bollywood, I think you get what you deserve."
Given that Kapoor now earns Rs70 million a film to Rai's Rs60m, that's a rather generous sentiment.
