2-week time given to remove all Ramadan tents: DM

Dubai Municipality has urged all house owners, shop keepers and other establishments to remove off all kind of tents they built during Ramadan for domestic or commercial purposes, said Jabir Ahmed Al Ali, Head of Building Inspection Section at the Civic body.

“All these tents are supposed to be removed just after Ramadan. But DM has noticed some of them are still existing with use or without use as the owners being unaware that this is against rules in Dubai” said Eng. Jabir in this regard.

“We give them maximum two weeks to remove tents. After that DM will carry out forcible evictions. For that patrolling has been already started” he added.

He said appearance of tents is not good for the beauty of city and also it will create a chance for illegal sellers and hawkers to occupy them.
