The Dubai Criminal Court, which heard the case of a Bangladeshi tailor accused of possessing drugs for trade purposes, has ordered assigning a lawyer to the accused. RAH, 38, was arrested on February 2 following a tip-off that he possessed and took drugs. The accused confessed before the court that he possessed marijuana but denied that it was for trade purposes. He said the marijuana was for his personal use. As the accused did not have a lawyer, the court assigned one to defend him at the next hearing scheduled for September 30.
