Guard charged for groping British woman’s buttocks

A 22-year-old Pakistani security staff, ZFA, at Dubai Investments Park, allegedly molested a British woman while he was showing her a map of the area, the Dubai Criminal Court heard. SE, 22, an architect, testified that on April 27, she went with her friend Mariam to Dubai Investments Park to look for Al Choueifat School. “We went to the administration for guidance about the school. The guard accompanied to show me a map while my friend stayed in the car. He searched in the drawers until he found the map. Then he stood behind me and groped my buttocks. I thought it could be an accidental… but as I continued searching but did not find the school on the map, he told me that he has another map and booklets. Then he again touched my private part, I got scared and moved towards the door. He followed me and did it for the third time. I turned to him and asked him why he is doing that, he claimed that it is accidental and apologised. I rushed out to the car and told my friend who advised me to inform the police,” she testified. The court adjourned the case for verdict till June 14.
