The Dubai Court of Appeals dismissed an appeal made by the blood guardians of the South African Kerry Winter, 36, who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend, British Mark Arnold. The blood guardians had asked the court to ask Arnold where he had disposed off her body.

Defence Lawyer, Yousuf Khalifa Hammad, asked the court in the previous hearing to dismiss the appeal as it had been heard by the prosecution during its investigations and the three levels of the Dubai Courts - First Instance, Appeals and the Cassation.

The case records said that Arnold killed his girlfriend with a baseball bat and put her body on his boat where he put it in a bag with weights and drowned her into the sea.

Arnold received life in jail term by the Court of Cassation which upheld the Appeal court verdict.

The Court of Appeal had stiffened a 15-year in jail sentence that had been awarded to Arnold by the Court of First Instance.
