A Saudi farmer says he has a vine tree that perhaps nobody else has-- it bears fruit round the year. Farm experts said they had never heard of such types of tree. Eid Al Omairi said his vine tree at his far south of the northwestern town of Hail blooms and bears grapes from March until December. All grape trees in the Gulf Kingdom stop blooming in March and bear fruit in one season through the year, he said. “Last year, I cut off a branch of this vine tree and planted somewhere else in the farm…it gave the same result,” he told Sabq daily.
