Asian woman, baby killed in 8th floor fire

An Asian woman and her newborn baby died after they were trapped inside their 8th floor apartment that was engulfed by a massive blaze.

Civil defence men in the capital Kuwait City managed to control the fire after rescuing most of the tenants on the floor, Al Watan daily said.

“An Asian woman and her newborn son were found dead in their flat after inhaling smoke from fire,” the paper said without identifying the woman.
