Housemaid murders 'mocking maid'
A Filipina housemaid in Kuwait waited for her work mate from India to go to bed, pulled a knife and stabbed her to death because she was mocking her, a newspaper reported on Saturday.
The unnamed Filipina told police that she was “fed up” with the Indian maid because she had kept mocking her in front of other women at a sewing workshop inside their employer’s house in Kuwait City.
Kuwaiti police investigating the murder had found a blood-stained knife at that house and fingerprints showed it was used by the Filipina, the Arabic language daily Alanba said.
“She confessed to the murder and told police that she killed her colleague while asleep because she had not stopped mocking and offending her in front of other workers.
