Woman raped by four men…including ex-fiance

Four men kidnapped and raped a Kuwait women in the Gulf emirate, including one who had sought to be engaged to her, the Arabic language daily 'Alanba' said on Wednesday.

The woman told the police the four forced her into their car in Kuwait City and took her to a deserted area near Abdullah port, where they beat her up before taking turns in raping her. They then robbed her hand bag, which contained KD50 and personal documents.

The unnamed woman said she recognised one of the rapists as the man who had sought engagement with her in the past.

“She said this man has a dual nationality…police have mounted a manhunt to catch the four,” the paper said.
