Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed pays tribute to Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, offering prayers for mercy and forgiveness
Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, has mourned Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In a post on his X account, Sheikh Ahmed said: "Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has passed to the side of a Generous Lord. We ask God to have mercy on him and forgive him, and to reward him abundantly for the good he did and the generosity he showed. O God, have mercy on him, forgive him, elevate his rank and strengthen our hearts. Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we shall return."
