Kuwait air defences intercept 17 unmanned aerial vehicles, 13 ballistic missiles

Kuwait: Kuwaiti air defences detected and intercepted a number of drones and ballistic missiles on Wednesday, according to official statistics released by the Ministry of Defence.

Data shared by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) showed that air defence systems successfully destroyed 17 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and 13 ballistic missiles during the attacks.

The figures form part of broader statistics covering the period since the beginning of the attacks, during which Kuwaiti forces have intercepted a total of 869 UAVs, 372 ballistic missiles, and 15 cruise missiles.

The Ministry of Defence stated that Kuwaiti air defences remain on high alert and continue to respond to incoming threats as part of ongoing security operations.
