Lohan's friends don't think she should work

Lindsay Lohan's management team hopes she can get back to work to redeem herself as soon as she's out of rehab in 2011 -- but her friends apparently believe that could be a dangerous move.
The troubled actress is set to exit the faciliity on January 3, and her managers have rpeortedly been furiously devouring movie scripts, setting up meetings and organising fashion projects.
Lohan avoided more jail time on Friday and was ordered back to a drug and alcohol rehab programme after failing a random drug test last month. Prosecutors wanted her to be sent back to jail for six months for violating her probation on a 2007 offense for drunk driving and cocaine possession.
She has already expressed concern about her career and her crumbling fashion line. But according to her probation officer, Lindsay also acknowledged that her "lifestyle" is filled with temptation.
Now, her close friends believe that work isn't the way forward and that Lindsay needs to focus on getting her life together.
"[Lindsay] shouldn’t be working the first week. She shouldn’t be working the first couple months. She needs to be attending daily meetings to stay on track for sobriety," a close friend told TMZ.com. Another added: “Lindsay needs to focus on herself for some time."
Psychologists might have something to say about that "me, me, me" attitude. At least she's got enough time to think things through now.
