Watch: Muslim man slams Daesh in new hip hop video
A Canadian man has penned a new rap song in response to the Paris attacks which left 130 people dead.
Daesh militants have claimed responsibility for the November 13 attacks.
The Muslim hip hop artist Bijaan lambasts the group over the violence, in a video published on YouTube.
"You can twist words and quote the Koran, but .... this is not Islam. Next time you go on and mention a god, pray for forgiveness and pray we move on," the 22-year-old sings.
Bijaan told Reuters as a Muslim he has never been taught to "hate, discriminate or use violence in any situation”.
The video has been shot and edited by Dominique van Olm and sound recorded and mixed by Darren Snowden.
Originally from Calgary, Canada, the performer started rapping when he was 13 and recently recorded his first full solo album.
