Dubai Media wins five awards for excellence in programmes and innovative initiatives

Dubai: Dubai Media has won five awards at the Dubai Quality Group Awards, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group. The awards recognise the excellence of Dubai Media’s programmes and initiatives, as well as its commitment to delivering innovative media and knowledge content that meets audience aspirations. The achievement highlights the organisation’s success in enhancing content quality and societal impact through creativity and innovation, reinforcing its position as one of the UAE’s and the region’s leading media organisations.

During the ceremony, held at Al Habtoor Palace Dubai, the Mohamed Bin Rashid Holy Quran Printing Center won the Lean Six Sigma award at the 14th edition of the Global Continual Improvement Award 2025, becoming the first centre worldwide to receive the accolade. Meanwhile, the “Thakiratak” Smart Archive Launch Al Bayan Newspaper project won the Kaizen & Innovation award in the same edition. The “Al Muftish Fasih” programme won the Arabic Language Promotion category at the 12th edition of the UAE Ideas Award 2025, while the “Yak Al Aoun” initiative, launched by the Hotline of Emirates Today newspaper, won the Volunteer and Humanitarian Work category. Finally, Shark Tank Dubai also won the Entrepreneurship category.

The recognition reflects Dubai Media’s success in developing an integrated media ecosystem built on innovation, quality and continuous improvement. It also highlights the organisation’s ability to transform ideas into impactful initiatives that create value for society and enrich the media landscape. The achievement reinforces Dubai Media’s commitment to excellence, innovation and international best practices, further strengthening its position as a leading media organisation capable of keeping pace with the rapid evolution of the media and content industries.

Commenting on the achievement, Mohamed AlMulla, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Media, expressed his sincere appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum for the recognition, noting that it serves as a strong incentive for the organisation to continue enhancing its performance and contribution to the development of the media sector.
