Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed chairs Rashid Villages committee meeting

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Rashid Villages, chaired the committee’s second meeting to review project progress and follow up on the implementation of approved plans and initiatives.

During the meeting, His Highness emphasised the importance of maintaining the project timeline in line with approved schedules to achieve its objectives and translate its humanitarian and development vision into tangible outcomes for beneficiary families. He also stressed the need for alignment among partner entities to ensure efficient execution.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid noted that the project represents a sustainable investment in people, families and society, highlighting that its success lies in providing an integrated environment that supports social stability and enables families to build a safer and more prosperous future.

The committee reviewed key aspects of the project, including master plans, construction progress, and updates on supporting initiatives and services for beneficiary families. It also examined the work of task forces and partner entities, in addition to monitoring and performance mechanisms designed to ensure timely delivery and strong governance across all phases.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications and Vice Chairman of the Committee; Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai; His Excellency Saeed Al Eter, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives; His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society; Her Excellency Dr Raja Easa Al Gurg, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Al Jalila Medical Education and Research Support Foundation; and Hasher bin Dalmook, Director of the Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Secretary of the Committee.

“Rashid Villages” is a charitable initiative launched in 2025 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to mark the tenth anniversary of the passing of Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The initiative aims to build model communities that provide underprivileged families with access to housing, education, healthcare and social services.
