Dubai: The UAE will experience generally fair weather on Monday, with periods of low cloud formation over eastern regions, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM report indicates that a weak surface pressure system, combined with an extension of an upper-air high-pressure system, is influencing weather conditions across the country.

Today’s weather overview

Conditions are expected to remain fair throughout the day. Low clouds are likely to appear over eastern areas, while winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening over the sea.

Temperature and humidity levels

Temperatures will vary across different regions:

  • Coastal and island areas: Maximum temperatures between 36°C and 42°C, with minimums ranging from 25°C to 30°C. Relative humidity will range from 20% to 85%.
  • Internal regions: Temperatures are expected to peak between 43°C and 48°C, with minimums between 18°C and 24°C, and humidity levels between 10% and 80%.
  • Mountain areas: Maximum temperatures will range from 32°C to 37°C, with minimums between 26°C and 31°C, and humidity ranging from 15% to 85%.

Wind conditions

Winds will be generally southwesterly to northwesterly across all regions:

  • Coastal and island areas: 10–25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h
  • Internal areas: 10–25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h
  • Mountain areas: 10–20 km/h, reaching up to 30 km/h

The NCM notes that sea conditions will generally remain slight to moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea through the week, with temporary rough conditions expected at times in the Gulf.
